Chilli production is making a remarkable difference to the lives of people in Uganda. Our programming has shifted from a traditional approach to a more development focused approach.
We work with private sector companies, such as Sunshine Agro Products Limited, particularly in Abim, Uganda. Sunshine provides the seeds to the farmers, they identify village agents in the community who they work with and they conduct training. Instead of providing direct solutions we think it is more sustainable to work through the private sector who will stay with the communities we work with.
