In November 2024, GOAL announced our partnership with the Lebanese NGO, Nabaa, to scale up immediate humanitarian aid for displaced people in South Lebanon as targeted airstrikes and ground incursions continue. Part of this aid included winter clothing kits to 300 children - offering some comfort amidst a brutal winter in displacement.
As conflict continues to displace families across Lebanon, the bitter cold has made survival even harder. With temperatures dropping to near freezing, children are facing winter without proper clothing or shelter.

Many families fled their homes with nothing. For children, the lack of warm clothes is not just uncomfortable—it’s life-threatening. Without urgent support, they are at severe risk.

In response, GOAL launched an urgent winter relief effort in partnership with local Lebanese NGO Naba’a. Together, we distributed winter clothing kits to 300 children from displaced families in Saida, ensuring they stay warm and protected.

For families who have lost everything, these clothing kits are more than just warmth—they are a lifeline. Each kit includes essential winter gear to help children stay protected from the harsh cold.
