GOAL has responded to the world’s major humanitarian crises since its founding in 1977, working with vulnerable communities in 15 countries across the globe with a dedicated team of 3,500 personnel. While GOAL continues to be an agile first-responder to humanitarian crises, it is also committed to working with vulnerable communities to help them survive crises and support them on the road to recovery.

GOAL launched its new five-year organisational strategy, ‘From Crisis to Resilience’ in 2022, which sets an ambitious agenda to reach more people experiencing crisis and fragility around the world.

The HQ Comms Team is now seeking a dynamic, talented, and energetic candidate to take as a Junior Graphic Designer on a permanent basis in the HQ in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin to work in partnership with our Graphic Designer and the rest of the Comms team.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Assist with ensuring delivery of innovative, engaging, ‘on-brand’ and sophisticated graphic design and video pieces, following receipt of well-defined project by project briefs.
  • Delivering ever sophisticated video production, to build audiences through digital in and outside of campaign periods, complimentary but distinct from conversion / ROI driven campaigns, in line with the new Digital Strategy 2025.
  • Contribute ideas on a wide range of graphic design content to help better portray GOAL’s work across all platforms, while ensuring that this content maintains the integrity of the GOAL GRIT (Guts, Resilience, Initiative and Tenacity) brand identity. Brand Book available on request.

The Person

  • This role is likely to suit a candidate with qualifications in graphic design, visual communications design and/or digital content creation.
