Digital Technology Programmes Specialist

Job Purpose

The Digital Technology Programmes Specialist will sit within our Programs Technical Team, the {TT are a group of specialised advisors who provide technical expertise to our Country Programmes and represent GOAL externally, with the aim of driving programme excellence, alignment with strategic goals, and fostering collaboration.  As the Digital Technology specialist, you will be the focal point for the team on all things Digital Technology based.

 

Key areas of Responsibility:

  • Innovation Lab on digital tech solutions; oversee design, development, and deployment.
  • Map digital technology use in programmes and maintain an up-to-date portfolio.
  • Devise and publish policy, SOP, and guidance documentation around digital technologies.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and evaluations on identified and deployed solutions respectively.
  • Convene a programmatic digital technology focal point group with country office representatives for internal learning; represent GOAL in international networks and present work at conferences for external knowledge sharing.
  • Research potential partnerships and build relationships with local and international digital tech providers, academics, and agencies.
  • Research opportunities for funding and support bid writing and budget development processes.
  • Keep abreast of advances in digital technology; identify, research, and develop opportunities for innovation at GOAL.

 

The Person
Masters Degree in relevant field.
5 years' experience within the NGO sector,
Expertise working with and knowledge off multiple Digital Technologies and platforms
Strong Stakeholder management skills
Results-driven and ability to handle multiple projects.
Well organised with project management skills

**GOAL offers staff flexible working with our hybrid model, we require our HQ employees to work 2 days per week from our office in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin**
